The tried-and-tested “Advantage” sports shooting jacket from Sauer which is so popular among sport shooters is now available in a new, highly effective blend of materials by the name “Advantage Extra.” For the first time a highly slip-resistant rubber material that keeps its shape extremely well is being used on cotton supporters in the front and back. It offers the shooter excellent stability in the shooting position while still granting the necessary flexibility of movement. The sturdy rubber material meets the requirements of the ISSF, is easy to care for, and retains its good properties for years. Those who try it out will be impressed.

The new Sauer Advantage shooting jacket is a further development of our tried-and-trusted Atlanta model. The sloping button strip and an additional seam in the upper part of the front of the support arm prevent the gunman suffering the nuisance of material folds or buttons in the chin area. The new sling construction in the shoulder area of the firing arm serves to prevent material from getting in the way when firing or at the shoulder and the back of the neck. The new Advantage is made from a carefully selected mixture of materials. The body and the back part of the supporting arm are made of double linen, to give the best possible stability. The spine and the sleeves are made of calf's leather, in order to guarantee freedom of movement where it is needed. The front part near the supporting arm is reinforced with velour leather in order to prevent slippage.

The jacket model "Advantage Prone" fulfils all requirements for shooting from a prone position. It has a straight front cut for prone shooting. Both sleeves have been turned and sewn in set further to the back. Stronger tucking of the material in the shoulder and front sleeve area ensure reduced wrinkle formation.

The neckline and back yoke have been positioned lower to avoid pressure being exerted by the material. One side of the front - the left side for right-handed shooters and the right side for left-handed shooters - is lined with suede. The large Top Grip patches on the sleeves have been shifted outward to ensure an optimum support surface.

For the purely standing attack Sauer has developed this jacket for the purely standing attack, efficiently integrating the experience of top marksmen in a pragmatic manner. In addition to boasting the qualities of the tried-and-proven Advantage jackets, the "Advantage Standing" now also offers a half-sleeve (DBGM) solution for the firing arm. The back side of this short sleeve is made of a stretchable, breathable material. Together with the new "leather cut technique" over the biceps, this ensures relaxed aiming without the formation of wrinkles or folds.

The back side of the firing arm sleeve has also been perfectly adapted to the needs of standing marksmen. The inwardly rotated, top-grip covering ends above the elbow and thus avoids unnecessary expenditure of energy while simultaneously providing protection against slippage in the bent position. The new "Advantage Standing" thus unites stabile hold and variable freedom of movement during aiming.

Effective and worth the money
The Sauer shooting jacket "Effect" is the lower-priced version of a shooting jacket "made in Germany". It offers the good fit typical of the "Advantage", is made of double linen and has an anti-slip rubber patch on the elbows.

In contrast to the "Advantage", the "Effect" has no suede lining on the front of the support arm.

As a low-price version of the Atlanta model. Its fit is the same as for the Atlanta model, except for the semicircular suede leather inset on the front part, it is entirely mode from linen.
