The entire laser system, including batteries, is housed in one of two grip panels.  Both are ergonomically designed to retain the overall look and feel of the venerable 1911 and 1991A1 government and commander models.

• Fits: 1911 and 1911A1 Government and Commander style frames, including Colt, *Springfield, Kimber, Browlin Arms, Olympic Arms, Les Baer, Auto-Ordinance, Etc.
  *Lasergrips do not fit Springfield Armory 1911 frames manufactured after 1998, without frame modification.
• Beam Intensity: 5mw peak, 633nm, class IIIa laser. Maximum output that federal law and current technology allow. (Also available in infrared for law enforcement and military only.)
• Dot Size:  Approximately 0.5" diameter at 50 feet
• Power Source:  Two #2032 lithium batteries (included); over four hours of on-time use and a five year shelf life. 
• Activation: Integrated pressure switch and master on/off switch.
